Slovene and Austrian Parliamentarians on Closure of Krško Nuclear Plant

Ljubljana, 6 February - Delegations of the Slovene and the Austrian Parliaments met in Ljubljana Monday at the proposition of Austrian parliamentarians to discuss the issue of the Krško Nuclear Plant. It is in the interest of the Austrian public and authorities, according to the Austrian delegation, that the Krško Plant be shut down as soon as possible. Austria is willing to assist this process, and even to pay a higher price for a prompt closure of the plant, said the Austrian delegation.
