Supreme Court Says Supervision of Journalist Conducted Illegally

Ljubljana, 9 November - The Supreme Court has upheld the decision of the District Court regarding what is now officially the illegally conducted supervision of journalist Tomaz Ranc by the police in 1999, daily Delo reported on Friday. Ranc is to receive EUR 2,921 (SIT 700,000) in compensation for the police illegally obtaining a list of his phone calls.
