What Happens if Govt Fails to Win Vote of Confidence?
Ljubljana, 15 November - If parliament fails to endorse the vote of confidence announced on Thursday by PM Janez Jansa, the cabinet will be forced to resign. In this case, the parliament will have 30 days to appoint a new prime minister-designate or reverse the failed vote of confidence. Should that not happen, the parliament will be dissolved and an early election called by the president of Slovenia.
