Hikers Turn out en Masse to Remember Popular Author

Litija, 10 November - Some 15,000 turned out on a crisp autumn day for what is one of the biggest hiking events in Slovenia. Some 20 kilometre-long trail between Litija and Catez in central Slovenia follows the path taken by Fran Levstik (1831-1887), an author and a pioneer of Slovenian literary criticism who outlined his guidelines in an essay "The Journey from Litija to Catez".
