Book Examines Secret War Missions in Border Area

Nova Gorica, 14 November - A Trieste-based Slovenian historian has written a book about the Allied intelligence services operating in the bilingual area of northeastern Italy between its surrender in 1943 and the end of WWII. The book also sheds light on the attempts to set up an anti-Communist front on what is later to become Slovenia's western border.
