Over 1,200 Children in Foster Care in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 15 November - Slovenia has almost 880 foster parents and there are 1,201 children in foster care. "Because of a century-old tradition of fostering, Slovenia does not have orphanages," Majda Erzar of the Labour, the Family and Social Affairs Ministry told STA at a meeting of Slovenian social workers on Thursday.
