Organisers Say 70,000 People Taking Part in Rally
Ljubljana, 17 November - A mass rally staged by the trade unions has begun with a march towards the centre of Slovenia's capital. The organisers say up to 70,000 people are taking part in the protest calling for higher wages in Slovenia.

The protesters brought many banners. "The Future of Workers" and "Who Lives on Hope, Dies of Hunger" were just some of the slogans that could be seen in the crowd.
