Monetary Policy Committee Debates 2008 and 2009 Budget Bills

Ljubljana, 24 November - The parliamentary Finance and Monetary Policy Committee discussed on Saturday the budget bills for 2008 and 2009, with Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk stressing the government is successfully cutting the budget deficit. The opposition maintains the government is following a pro-cyclical instead of a counter-cyclical fiscal policy.
