Govt Declares 2008 Primoz Trubar Year

Ljubljana, 28 November - The government declared on Wednesday that 2008 would be Primoz Trubar year, thereby honouring the 500th anniversary of the birth of this Protestant reformer, who was the founder and fist superintendent of the Evangelical Church in Slovenia and the pioneer of the Slovenian written language.
