EU PRESIDENCY: MEP Novak Says Slovenian Officials Should Speak Mother Tongue

Ljubljana, 30 November - MEP Ljudmila Novak (EPP/NSi) said Slovenian officials should use their mother tongue to address European institutions during the country's spell as EU president. According to her, officials who speak in a foreign language when translators are available "raise eyebrows".
