Jansa Believes Africa and EU Should Strengthen Ties

Lisbon, 8 December - The situation in Zimbabwe, particularly its human rights record, is the "main reason why it took seven years for an EU-Africa summit to take place, which is a shame", Prime Minister Janez Jansa said on Saturday after the first day of the EU-Africa summit in Lisbon. He added that Africa had developed faster than ever before in those seven years, even without the cooperation of Europe.
