Drought is Going to Cut This Year's Grape Harvest in Two
Ljubljana, 3 September - GRAPES/HARVEST/DROUGHT
The Slovenian viticulturists and wine producers were expecting an above average grape harvest this year: it was expected to exceed last year's by about 40%. However, it is already clear that in the best case it is going to be equal to last year's harvest, while winegrowers are going to do their best to maintain the quality of grapes, as pointed out at today's extended session of the Business Board for Wine Circulation. These days Ljubljana is hosting the traditional Wine Fair.
