Slovenia to Be Granted European Bank Membership

London/Ljubljana, 8 September - The Board of Directors of the European Bank for Renewal and Development (EBRD) reported today that it has accepted Slovenia as a member.
They presented Slovenia's application for EBRD membership to the Governors' Council, which is going to make the final decision. EBRD's mission is facilitating the transformation of ex-communist Eastern European countries into democracies and market economies.
