Parliament: Still Without Electoral Legislation

Ljubljana, 9 September - In its first autumn session, the Slovenian Parliament did not pass two key electoral laws: the one on the State Council and the one on the State Chamber. Today, deputies have continued the June discussion on these two laws. If these two laws are passed, new elections can be held by the end of this year; thus these draft laws might be discussed again or passed at tomorrow's continued parliament session.
