Slovenia - a Full Member of the Pugwash Conference

Ljubljana, 21 September - GERMANY/BERLIN/CONFERENCE/SCIENCE
On Friday, the 42nd Pugwash Conference on science and world matters ended in Berlin. Its objective was to find ways of creating a common future for humanity. The Conference accepted Slovenia as its full member, reports the Slovenian Academy of Arts and Sciences (SAZU). Topics discussed at the Conference included peace, security, disarmament, economic progress and ecology.
