"I believe the Slovenian delegation's visit to New York was very successful. Slovenia, as one of the youngest UNO members, took advantage of this opportunity to present its viewpoints at the General Assembly. The world would like Slovenia to prove that, as a former member of another political block, it is able to be peacefully transformed into a democratic, successful, economically efficient, and socially stable country," said President Milan Kučan at Brnik airport, on his return from New York.
