Europe's Best Women Golfers at the "Slovenian Open, Ladies' Golf' in Bled

Ljubljana, 8 October - The final tournament of the Women Professional Golfers European Tour (WPGET), the "Slovenian Open Ladies Golf', will start in Bled on Friday, October 9. Many of Europe's best professional players will compete even though the prize is only 210,000 DEM (simultaneous tournaments in the United States and Asia offer considerably higher prizes). Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, president of the Honorary Contest Council, will present trophies to the best players on Sunday.
