Dnevnik: The Song is Over?

Ljubljana, 26 October - The Party of Social Democratic Reform has succeeded in attracting two rather strong non-parliamentary parties, namely the Workers' Party and the Democratic Party of Pensioners, to jointly appear in the pre-election campaign and post-election cooperation, writes Sonja H. Vogrič in today's Dnevnik. Subsequently the Social Democratic Union joined in as well. The author also notes the "softening" of Jože Pučnik, the leader of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who has recently been stressing the European paradigm of his party's programme and announced the pooling of sociodemocratic tendencies in Slovenia, writes Sonja H.
