Bučar: A Breaking Point in the History of Slovenia
Ljubljana, 2 December - From May to November 27 of this year, the Slovenian members of parliament adopted 179 laws; ratified, notified and adopted 29 international treaties. In approximately a two year mandate, the members of parliament - in 156 sessions -discussed 2,161 matters, and discussed 2,802 questions. The 44 parliamentary commissions and committees in their 1,121 sessions discussed 4,880 issues. In the joint sessions of all the three assemblies, the members of parliament decided on 82 points on the daily agenda, while 20 points were decided during 15 joint sessions.
