Dr. Rupel: We should not have high expectations from the CSCE

Ljubljana, 15 December - The Slovenian Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Dimitrij Rupel,(on his return from the annual ministerial meeting of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe) stated that in regards to the conference, we should not have very high expectations. In an organization with such a large membership, consensus - being the basic method of operation - was a big problem. "Everything points to the fact that such a large membership disahies the CSCE from making important moves and decisions," stated Dr. Rupel.
