George Soros gives a 25 million dollar loan to Macedonia

Ljubljana, 5 January - Mr. George Soros, a financier of Hungarian origin and the President of the Soros Foundation, assigned Macedonia a 25 million dollar loan; to help the country survive the winter. The Soros Foundation operates in eighteen former communist countries to assist them with the transition period to an open society. This announcement was made in Ljubljana by the Soros Foundation.
