STA Interview with the Archbishop of the Belgrade Archdiocese, His Excellency France Perko

Belgrade, 11 January - The Archbishop France Perko, a Slovenian from Novo Mesto, attends his church duties in one of the "hotest" regions - in the Belgrade Archdiocese. The 63-year old Prelate was consecrated as Archbishop of Belgrade at the end of 1986. The establishment in Belgrade consider him to be an extremely wise and tolerant man who spreads the spirit of ecumenical doctrine and christian reconciliation even in these hard times.
