Večer and Slovenec on Slovene-Croatian Relations

Ljubljana/Maribor, 21 February - PRESS/SLOVENIA/VEČER/SLOVENEC
Večer (Maribor), in its commentary Negotiations with Croatia about the Sea Border Will Be Long, writes that Slovenia and Croatia do not hide that their bilateral relations are getting better; meetings of different ministers follow each other, and they are to be crowned by the meeting of both prime ministers and heads of state. Still, the negotiations about the border at sea, recently mentioned by Croatian ambassador to Slovenia, will be long and extremely complicated. According to the commentator, the agreement on legal and property questions, which is to be confirmed by both governments and parliaments, will certainly comprise the problems of the Croatian creditors of the bank Ljubljanska banka, the problems of the Krško nuclear power plant as well as Slovene property in Croatia. The border at sea will not be included as either side has got different views of this question, concludes the commentator.
