Mazowiecki satisfied with the human rights situation in Slovenia

Ljubljana, 15 January - A special United Nations human rights reporter, Mr. Tadeusz Mazowiecki, is in Slovenia since last evening on an official visit. Mr. Mazowiecki held talks this morning with the Slovenian Minister for Internal Affairs, Mr. Igor Bavčar, with the representatives of the Slovenian media and the representatives of the national minorities. He was received by the President of the Slovenian Republic, Mr. Milan Kučan at noon. After the talks, Mr. Mazowiecki expressed his satisfaction with the human rights situation in Slovenia.
