Slovenia and China - Equal Partners In Economy and Policy

Ljubljana, 21 February - SLOVENIA/CHINA/RELATIONS
Slovene delegation, gathering representatives of Slovene government and economy, was visiting China from 13 to 17 February. Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek, head of the delegation, met with his Chinese colleague and several ministers. The talks held in China showed that China sees Slovenia as a Central European country and does not connect it with the crisis in the Balkans. China recognizes Slovenia as an equal partner in economy and policy, said Borut Šuklje, Head of the Government Office of Information on Tuesday at a press conference about the visit in China.
