Martina Ertl Wins in Women's World Cup Giant Slalom in Pohorje

Maribor, 25 February - SPORTS/SKIIING/WOMEN/GIANT/SLALOM
German skier Martina Ertl, runner-up after the first round, won in the second round of World Cup women's giant slalom race in Pohorje near Maribor (north-eastern Slovenia) Saturday. She finished both rounds with the time of 2:16.88, and beat the runner-up, Slovene skier Špela Pretnar (winner of the first round) by 15 hundredths of a second (2:17.03). Italian skier Deborah Comapagnoni was third with the time of 1:17.13 (+0.25 second).
