Slovene Parliament to Regulate the Area of Gambling

The Slovene parliament will have to decide on the bill on gambling in the following weeks, which has been causing many political dilemmas during the last three years. The decision for a new bill in the area of gambling, which is an important part of Slovene tourist offer, was adopted by the parliament as early as in August 1991. After that, the parliament refused two motions of bills on this issue, and gambling became subject of parliamentary investigation and of penal proceedings.
