EU PRESIDENCY: Costs of Presidency Estimated at EUR 62m

Ljubljana, 19 December - Along with being a major logistical and organisational challenge, the EU presidency is also a significant financial undertaking, especially for a country of Slovenia's size. The government estimates that the direct costs of the presidency will stand at EUR 62m, which includes all the logistics, staff and promotional activities.
