Ljubljana, 15 December - Less than three weeks before Slovenia assumes the EU's presidency, European leaders signed a reform treaty, which is to make the 27-nation bloc more effective. But before he signed the document in Lisbon, Prime Minister Janez Jansa apologised on behalf of Slovenia to those who suffered at the hands of the Communist regime.
