NGOs Call for Reduction of Air Pollution in Cities

Ljubljana, 13 December - A pressure group of environmental NGOs addressed a letter to Prime Minister Janez Jansa on Thursday calling for long-term measures to reduce the harmful impact of transport on air quality in cities. The authorities should develop public transportation, shift goods transport to railways and ensure cooperation between all stakeholders, says the Coalition for Sustainable Transport Policy.
