Festivities to Mark Schengen Zone Expansion

Ljubljana, 19 December - A number of celebrations in Slovenia and other parts of Europe are to mark in the coming days the expansion of the Schengen passport-free zone to nine new members on Friday, 21 December. Wrapping up the festivities will be Saturday's ceremony at the Slovenian-Italian border crossing of Skofije (Rabuiese).
