Prodi: Enforcement of Croatian Zone Illegitimate

Rome, 21 December - Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi has reiterated his hope that Croatia will not implement its fisheries zone in the Adriatic for EU members on 1 January 2008. "Such a measure is illegitimate, it requires response because it is not in accordance with the spirit of Europe," Prodi said in an interview for the Slovenian public broadcaster.
