Jansa: Slovenians Would Not Be Independent Without Unity
Ljubljana, 21 December - High-profile ceremonies were held on Friday to mark Independence and Unity Day, the day in 1990 when the overwhelming results of the referendum on independence were announced. Addressing the national ceremony was Prime Minister Janez Jansa, who said Slovenians still had not managed to bridge old divides, while they were united in 1990, which was a prerequisite for independence.
