Annual Inflation at 5.6% in 2007

Ljubljana, 28 December - The annual inflation rate fell 0.1 percentage point to 5.6% in December as the recent surge in prices abated somewhat, the Statistics Office said on Friday. Despite the cooling off, the rate is still double that a year ago and statisticians again noted a rise in food prices on the monthly level.
