Slovenia's First Newborn of the Year a Baby Boy

Ljubljana, 1 January - Slovenia got its first newborn in 2008 only 20 seconds after midnight, when a boy weighing 3,600 grams was born in Trbovlje. The second in third babies born in 2008 were meanwhile girls, both born in Ljubljana. One was delivered a minute after midnight while the other let her first cry out only a minute later.
