Ministry: 2007 Inflation Product of Oil and Food Price Hikes

Ljubljana, 4 January - The Finance Ministry on Friday blamed hikes in food and oil prices for the high annual inflation rate in Slovenia. Had it not been for these two factors, which contributed 40% and 7% to the total inflation figure, respectively, inflation at the annual level would have been similar as the year before, the ministry said in a press release.
