Number of Births Up 4.2% in 2007

Ljubljana, 11 January - A total of 19,585 infants were born in Slovenia in 2007, which marks a rise of 784 or 4.2% on 2006, the Institute of Public Health (IVZ) said in a press release on Friday. The data suggests 2007 was the fourth year in row in which the number of births increased.
