Conference Urges Parliaments to Make Use of Reform Treaty

Ljubljana, 11 January - The Lisbon Treaty will increase the role of national parliaments, but it will be these parliaments that will have to know how to use their new powers to influence EU policies, an international conference as part of Slovenia's EU presidency agreed on Friday.
