Slovenia Slides 17 Places on Economic Freedom Index

Ljubljana, 15 January - Slovenia has slid 17 places on the Index of Economic Freedom for 2008 and ranks 75th among 157 countries surveyed by the Heritage Foundation, a Washington think tank, and the Wall Street Journal. The overall score of 60.6% places it on the lower end of the "moderately free" scale, just 0.3% above the world average.
