Govt to Fight Inflation with Tighter Fiscal Policy

Ljubljana, 17 January - The government will tighten its purse strings in order to offset the loss of budget revenues after it adopted measures to help the poorest cope with inflation, Prime Minister Janez Jansa announced on Thursday, saying that spending would be slashed at the Defence Ministry.
