Bronze Statues of WWII Heroes Destined for Metal Market
Kranj, 17 January - The Kranj criminal police have unraveled the mystery surrounding the theft of ten bronze statues earlier this week. Three men from the town of Jesenice (NW) were caught red-handed as they were trying to remove a sculpture commemorating World War II resistance, a lead that has brought the police to two men in Ljubljana who bought the stolen goods.
