Agreement Within Reach in Public Sector Strike Talks

Ljubljana, 22 January - The government and the strike committee of 26 trade unions representing public sector employees on Tuesday somewhat neared their positions on the unions' demands for wage increase, but failed to reach a final agreement. While the talks will resume on Wednesday, the threat of a general token strike for 30 January keeps looming.
