Foreign Policy Committee Supports Lisbon Treaty Ratification

Ljubljana, 24 January - The parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee was near unanimous on Thursday in its support of the law on the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty. The only dissenting voice came from the opposition National Party (SNS) lawmaker Bogdan Barovic, who argued that the ratification was too rapid and said the public was not informed enough.
