Provinces Stay on Parliament's Agenda, SD Withholds Support

Ljubljana, 28 January - As coalition parties blocked on Monday a proposal by Zares to postpone voting on the introduction of provinces, Zares's initiative for a referendum on the legislation also received backing from the Social Democrats (SD). The SD's move has cast a big question mark over Friday's vote in parliament.
