Parliament Passes Domestic Violence Act
Ljubljana, 1 February - The parliament passed in a near unanimous vote on Friday the act on domestic violence. The first piece of legislation of its kind, it provides victims of domestic violence with professional assistance and sets down rules for the treatment of offenders.
