Key Law on Provinces Fails to Garner Sufficient Majority

Ljubljana, 1 February - The ruling coalition failed on Friday to garner the two-thirds majority needed to pass the bill on the establishment of provinces, the most important law in the provinces legislation package. The bill got the support of 50 MPs in Slovenia's 90-member National Assembly.
