Conference Highlights Cancer Prevention, Screening

Brdo pri Kranju, 8 February - Participants agreed at Friday's conference on cancer in Brdo pri Kranju that the main goal in cancer treatment was reducing differences between ways of dealing with cancer in old and new EU members. They also stressed the importance of prevention and organised screening programmes, Health Minister Zofija Mazej Kukovic told the press.
