Kosovo Topping Tuerk's Meeting with UN Secretary General

New York, 12 February - Kosovo ranked high on the agenda as President Danilo Tuerk met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon at the UN New York headquarters on Monday. Commenting on the issue, Tuerk said the recognition of Kosovo as an independent state was not a matter of the UN, but of sovereign states, which would have to follow the relevant international law and practice.
