Experts and MPs Divided on Proposed New Penal Code

Ljubljana, 22 February - A public debate on a proposed new penal code, which includes the introduction of life imprisonment, took place in parliament Friday, confirming a divide between the opposition and coalition as well as legal experts as regards the code's specific provisions and even the need for such a thorough overhaul.
