Mercator Results Fail to Boost LJSE

Ljubljana, 27 February - It was a lacklustre day for blue chips on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday despite Slovenia's largest retailer, Mercator, reporting a 45% rise in its net profit for 2007. The SBI 20 benchmark index closed the day 76.09 points lower at 10,090.93 and the SBI TOP index of the ten biggest blue chips lost 21.19 points to 2,237.36.
